bike before snow

The ice patches left on the trail look like world maps.

If I'm to ride the trail on my bike at least once a month, like I did last year, then I can cross off January.
And just in time, with 3-6 more inches of snow on the way in the next 24 hours.

  

But for now, I'm imagining a fantastical world beyond the asphalt.
